GROUP FOR THE EAST END NATIVE PLANT GARDEN
The clients wanted to create a garden at their Southold offices to demonstrate that native plants aren't just good for the environment, but can be beautiful, too. Using their leaf-shaped logo, MPLA envisioned raised steel planter beds with pea gravel paths between to allow easy maintenance and access. Since the garden will be created by volunteers, it was important to select inexpensive and readily-available materials will be easy for amateurs to obtain and construct the beds quickly and easily. The group is in the process of obtaining donations for the creation of the garden space.
